Employment Incubator

We seek to provide students with valuable Canadian work experience, professional networking opportunities, and peer support to help them successfully transition into the Canadian labour market by enhancing their employability. Through in-house initiatives and partnerships with local organizations and businesses, participants gain practical experience and develop workplace skills through opportunities such as summer employment, practicums, internships, and other job placements.

Each summer, we are proud to offer a variety of full-time, paid positions for young adults across multiple disciplines, both within and outside ECSSEN Career School. Below are examples of roles offered in previous years:

Practicum

We are proud to have welcomed practicum students from institutions including the University of Victoria and the University of Calgary. Our long-term practicum placements, typically lasting six months or more with a minimum of 300 practicum hours, provide students with valuable hands-on experience in a nonprofit environment. Participants develop practical career skills while contributing to meaningful community initiatives and earn academic credit toward the completion of their studies.
